Our Alabama Data Scholars cohort for 2024 has been actively engaged in an intensive professional development program, participating in two webinars per week. These sessions covered a wide array of topics, from higher education programs and scholarships to technical skill development in SQL and AI. The program aims to equip our scholars with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in the data science field.
About the Program:
With generous support from Innovate Alabama, QuantHub is proud to offer the Alabama Data Scholars, an 8-week summer internship and skills development program designed to introduce high school students across the state to high-demand careers in the growing fields of data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI). The inaugural class of 26 Alabama Data Scholars were placed into internships with innovative organizations leveraging data to make a positive impact on the state.
