QuantHub Selected as a 2024 SETDA Emerging Partner, Bringing Data & AI Literacy to K-12 Education

Birmingham, AL – May 22, 2024 – QuantHub, an innovative education technology company revolutionizing data and AI literacy in K-12 education, has been chosen as one of only five startups to join the prestigious State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) 2024 Emerging Partners program. The highly competitive selection process underscores QuantHub’s leadership in the edtech space and its commitment to empowering the next generation with essential data skills.

“Being named a SETDA Emerging Partner is a tremendous honor that validates our mission and the impact we’ve made in classrooms across the country,” said Joshua Jones, CEO and co-founder of QuantHub. “We’re excited to collaborate with SETDA’s forward-thinking digital learning leaders and share our vision for seamlessly integrating data literacy across K-12 curricula.”

QuantHub’s adaptive learning platform has already demonstrated success in over 100 schools, and platform users in more than 170 countries around the world. Educators have praised the platform’s effortless alignment with key academic standards, such individual state STEM standards and the ACT.

“The aftermath of the impacts of COVID-19 still resonates within the states, making decisions on the allocation and expenditure of funds ever more complex, especially on the heels of a new National Educational Technology Plan. SETDA recognizes the critical role that educational products and services play in helping address the long- and short-time issues facing the nation’s schools” said Stan Silverman, SETDA Partnerships Committee Chair and Senior Fellow for Emerging Technologies at New York Institute of Technology.

As part of the SETDA Emerging Partners program, QuantHub will showcase its groundbreaking “data-for-all” approach during the SETDA Tank competition on June 5th. Throughout the year, the startup will also participate in exclusive events and workshops to further accelerate growth and drive meaningful change in K-12 education.

Beyond its work in the classroom, QuantHub is committed to driving a more data-literate workforce through partnerships with forward-thinking corporations. The company recently launched the “Data Scholars” paid internship program, placing high school students who have demonstrated proficiency in data skills into data science roles statewide while delivering job-aligned credentials through its platform.

“Our mission is to democratize access to critical data and AI skills, ensuring that every student, regardless of background, is prepared for success in our increasingly data-driven world,” added Jones. “We’re thrilled to have SETDA’s support as we work to make this vision a reality.”
