Camp Thrive: Building Future Leaders in STEM

BBT connects Camp Thrive staff

Black Belt Technology’s Camp Thrive offered a comprehensive four-week program designed to equip students with essential skills needed for success in STEM fields. The camp focused on strengthening core academic abilities in math, writing, and reading comprehension, specifically targeting non-fiction and technical texts. Beyond academics, participants developed crucial social-emotional competencies, including goal setting, time management, and effective communication.

To bridge the gap between theory and practice, students engaged in real-world projects aligned with STEM careers. This hands-on approach ignited curiosity and sparked interest in potential future paths. Using the QuantHub platform, Camp Thrive also integrated digital literacy into its curriculum, empowering students with the skills needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.

A unique aspect of the camp was its partnership with QuantHub. Students served as beta testers for new skills development, providing invaluable feedback to the QuantHub team. This collaboration allowed for real-time improvements to the platform and enhanced the overall learning experience for all involved.
