The Data Scholars program has kicked into high gear since its kick-off meeting on June 3rd, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for participating students. This innovative initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Kelsey Bickett, Data Scholars Program Manager, aims to cultivate the talents of future data leaders through a structured and enriching curriculum.

It commenced with warm welcomes and opening remarks from key figures such as Josh Jones, QuantHub CEO, Shannon Allen, Program Director for HBCU Engagement at Innovate Alabama, and Anna Topping, Senior Manager of Operations & Impact at TechBirmingham. The agenda also included introductions of the scholars themselves, outlining the diverse backgrounds and aspirations they bring to the table.
